Outside, plasma and LCD TV may be the same. Similar in a way that they both enable you to watch on a flat screen. There are actually differences between them.
Plasma televisions can go as large as 42 inches while the LCD is only about 37 inches. So generally, plasma TVs are larger than LCD TVs. But if there is a 42-inch LCD TV, it will cost more expensive than the plasma television of its equivalent. LCD TVs are lighter than plasmas. Plasma televisions are bulkier and need installation by an expert. They are however, built well to prevent overheating because of constant usage. You just need proper ventilation.
